Please fill out the form & waiver below. Volunteering consists of helping to clean dog and cat kennels, walking dogs, bathing and grooming animals, laundry, cleaning windows, washing dishes, mopping, vacuuming, outside clean up and anything else that needs to be done!

Once you have filled out the form, you will be contacted by our Volunteer Coordinator and an Orientation will be set up. You need to complete an Orientation before volunteering. Volunteers must be 16 years of age or older.

I am volunteering to work at the Animal Welfare Society of Southeastern Michigan. I understand that these are volunteered services and I am neither expecting nor eligible for wages or other employment benefits from the Society.

I understand that there are certain hazards associated with working in an animal shelter and working with lost and abandoned animals, including but not limited to exposure to parasites, disease, bites, scratches, falls and other physical injuries.
